A vintage bronze statuette depicting the well-known folklore figure Nasr ad-Din (or Juha) riding a donkey. The statue is usually cast in bronze or brass, and often shows the figure riding the donkey backside ahead, in keeping with the folktales. These items are often made in Turkey or the Middle East, and some may be signed on the base.
