The Adapt-A-Roll 620 is a device that allows for the transfer of film between 120 and 620 rolls, either with new or already exposed film. This process adapts the thickness of the film’s base roll to fit the specific structure of the camera in use. Made of metal, the device holds three rolls: one for receiving the film, one fixed roll to guide the film, and a third for collecting the transferred film. The film advances by turning a handle located next to the receiving roll.
A strip of paper attached to the film’s leading edge helps to feed it through the device, which is then closed so the transfer process occurs in complete darkness.
