A self-timer is a device that you connect to a camera that has the option to use the device and allows a delay between pressing and releasing the shutter when the shutter drops. The device is made of metal and connects to the camera with a screw at the top of the camera. Activation is activated by turning the dial until the desired number of seconds appears in the small window.
