Pivoting tool for watchmaking. Was used for replacing broken pivots of watch wheels and similar tasks. This has a rotating drum with a variety of sockets of different sizes to locate the end of the damaged wheel. The drill to make the hole for the new pivot passes through centre of the hole in the drum and can be rotated by a bow-and-cord acting on the brass pulley. The body is brass with polished steel fittings 11 cm wide by 6 cm back-to-front by 3.5 cm high. The set weighs 156 grams
