Antique table clock lathe. A Swiss craft tool, by the craftsman Jacot. The frame of the lathe is made of brass, the moving parts are made of steel. The lathe is made of 3 parts: a base that sits in a slot that positions it, on the right side, there is a replaceable axis on which there is a circle with slots according to the gear that needs to be engraved. On the body of the lathe there is a brake that goes into one of the slots and fixes the engraved body. On the other side, the engraver body will come out approximating both sides and will engrave in the required place. In order to move to the next engraving, release the round of the grooves for the next groove, fix and so on.
