Tool to separate the waste from the grain after threshing.
Produced by B.M. for agricultural machinery Kisloch in Afula.
Donated by the Yitzhaki family from Kfar Yona.
The harvester is part of a wooden flour mill stored in the museum's warehouse. The mill, a "Buhler" from Switzerland, is the first of its kind in the country. It was built in 1925 in Kfar Tabor and was found in 2001 in Kfar Yona, after serving as a regional mill for many years. The mill was operated until 1977 by the Yitzhaki family, who purchased it in 1948 from Kfar Tabor and added parts from a similar mill that was used in Kibbutz Sha'ar Ha'amakim.
