The tractor was purchased by Jehuda Karniel as a present  to his son Aviv Karniel for the occasion of his release from service. Since then, Aviv spent about 4000 hours on this Bristol ploughing the family vineyards.

The Karniel family immigrated from Romania in 1882 and were part of the founders of Zichron Yaakov.
