Born and raised in Moshav Elyashiv.
He was one of eight children, the sixth child of Miriam and Zechariah Simchi, of blessed memory, who immigrated from Yemen in 1927 on the immigrant ship "Train."
From an early age, he loved working the land, the dairy farm, and the orchards. Naturally, he became the successor in the family farm.
In 1967, he married Leah Arusi Levi from Petah Tikva. Together, they brought five children into the world and, for many years, opened their home and hearts to foster children from all over the country.
Respect, love of the Torah, and love for others were core values for Rahamim. He raised his children and grandchildren with these values, and many children of the moshav had the privilege of learning Bar Mitzvah preparation from him and enjoyed spending time and playing in his presence.
The home of Leah and Rahamim was always open to everyone. All were welcomed with a big smile and a warm embrace. His many friends, young and old, felt that Rahamim always offered a listening ear and was a true friend to them.
After forty years during which the tractor was a significant part of the family's work and leisure life, Rahamim decided to donate it to the Tractor Museum in Ein Vered to preserve it.
May his soul be bound in the bond of life. (T.N.Ts.B.H.)
